ipod shuffle

Hi all, i have been given an ipod shuffle but how do i get my music from my windows media player to go on to it, i want to be able to pick the tracks i want to transfer, i have downloaded itunes and thought i could open windows and itunes and click and drag but it does not seem to do anything... female in distress !! can anyone help? x

hi there well i had the same problem before so let me give you my advise go onto the apple web page and there is a program you can download called itunes for free once you have that it will upload all ur tracks from wndows and then you can say which ones you want on there well i hope this helps and if not just let me know

we did do that, it downloaded all of our tracks, my hubby took off what HE didnt want and now i want to put some back on , thats where the problem is, its like i cant do it anymore

If you look at the folder My Music in My Documents on your Windows program (or whereever else you keep your music) you should be able to get them back. How did he take them off? Did he deselect the song from itunes. Did he delete them and put them in itunes recycle bin?
