hiya, I've got an ipod shuffle an for some reason the ipod has stopped sending a signal to the left head phone. I tested the headphones with other mp3's and they work fine, i've even got different sets of headphones and tested them on the ipod and still the problem occurs. However, i have to move the headphone about or poke it out slightly for them to work now why is that and are there any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Sounds like a faulty headphone socket.

Is it in warranty still - if so take it / send it back.
If out of warranty you might have to pay??

Otherwise can't see any way you can fix the problem.

Have you tried the Apple forums - quite a large number of issues being discussed there. It might help.
