Hi
I need some advice on what is the best cable to link my TV to my DVD Recorder - Component, HDMI or Scart ? Is it worth spending out HDMI yet, as there doesn't seem to be much viewing available yet on HD. Also, what is the best speed for Dual Layer Discs - 2.4X or 8X.
Many thanks - Happy Christmas to all

It depends on what connectors you have available on your tv and DVD. If the tv is HD ready and your DVD has HDMI out then use the HDMI cable, if not then use component SCART from the DVD to the tv. As for burn speed of discs try the higher speed to see how it goes, you may need to use a lower speed for consistent results.
