how do i get rid of yahoo from my computer and the annoying e mails that appear

You could either uninstall Yahoo or if its on your task bar at the top right mouse click and un tick Yahoo (you should get a list saying menu/linlks/statusbar and a load of others.....

go to the control panal and uninstall yahoo messenger and yahoo tool bar if you have that as well.
