iPod

Hi just bought an 80gb ipod Classic, Tearing my hair out. I've put a couple of albums in my library in itunes to start of with but it's not going on to the device. I've registered it and it is visible. Anyone got any ideas. I've reset the device and started again a couple of times and i have the latest updated software too. Any ideas. As ever in advance x

Try the 5 R's.

Also, make sure it's plugged directly into a USB port on your computer, and not a hub.

You also don't say whether you're on Windows XP, Vista, or Mac OS X.

Hi Sorry to sound thick but what is the 5 R's. The OS i'm running is XP. And yes a did have it plugged into a hub. Cheers x

And plug it direct into your computer, not the hub.

pS A wee thing i forgot to mention i had the mini before that does that make a difference? Should i uninstall?

No it'll make no difference.

Just make sure you have the latest iTunes. Either it should have prompted you automatically to get you to download the latest as they come available, or goto
