i need someones help!!! my mum's computer screen has turned side ways. the screen picture and even the icons have moved. its like the monitor has been turned around. and even the mouse moves sideways. you have to sit with your head tilted to the left.

Do you have a Graphics Card Icon in the Bottom Right of the Screen. Try the settings menu in there
such as Display> Settings> Advanced. Look for an option similar to "rotate"
Or. Right click the desktop. Click Properties > Settings > Advanced > Graphics card. And to rotate may be there...

Just checked my computer. Method 2 above and rotated the screen GeForce 6800 card selection was NVrotate listed as Landscape -Portrait - Inverted Landscape- Inverted Portrait

we do this to newbies at work, using windows 2000, it could be that the display resolution has been changed.
right click on the desktop got to properties and look for the settings and change the res (960x600, 1024x768 or whatever) to something different until it changes back.
you should be able to change the res in the graphic options too as tellboy has said how to get to.
