I have not long bought a new dvd recorder, and have played a few music dvd's in it. Lately I have noticed that three green parallel lines run along certain disc through out the playing of the dvd. They are not pirates and are all retail purchases. But it only occurs on some dvd discs ? Could it be the lens ?

Not sure what you mean as I don't know how you can see three green lines on an audio disk. If you were playing a DVD video then I might expect you to see something. If the lines appear when playing some but not all DVD video's the fault may be hard to find but the indications are that there is a fault, most likely a faulty component, in your new toy. I suggest you take it back to where you got it.

It's ok I have now rectified the fault. I have swapped my scart sockets and it works fine now.
