Go to Finish Movie -> save to my computer and save it as an AVI file.

Open up Nero and start a new video project (depends on what version you have)

Import your AVI file and burn.

Thanks OldProgie for the simple instructions.Everything seemed to go ok until I wanted to play back what I had burned. We have 3 DVD players around the house(big head)It wouldn't play on 2 and the third one only 25seconds played back.Any ideas please? Is there any maintenance to be done to the burner or the DVD player that might cure this?I'm using DVD+R discs. Thanks again!!!
Windows movia maker at present is not suitable for making dvds - look for another program like ulead video studio

Hi dustypuss, thanks for your reply, but the problem occurs when I transfer my movie maker file to an AVI file,at the moment that's the only way I know how to burn to DVD.
