Windows Movie Maker movie on your phone

I have recently made a short movie on windows movie maker - only a minute long and want to transfer it to my sony erricson w800i so it's easier to show to people.

However, whenm I transfer it into the video file on the phone it will not play (or even give the option to play) I can only send or view details. The file comes out of movie maker as a .wmv file. is this the problem? if so how do I fix it!!

Your phone won't play .wmv (or .avi) files. You need to change it to a .3gp file.
There are software converters out there to do it, but I haven't found a free one that works well yet.
