how do i conect my laptop to a network pinter

It'll be using an ethernet connection, designed so that you connect the printer to your network (router or similar), so that any other computers on the network can access it. If you don't have a router or similar setup, then you can probably just connect the printer to your laptop (not entirely sure on this though sorry), with the ethernet port.
