Video Codecs

Just got a copy of the 'Batman: Dead End' short (all perfectly above board), but when I play it (in Media Player 9) it tries to download a codec (unsuccessfully), and will only play the video as silent. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Have you downloaded the Media player 9 codec package from Microsoft? There is also the SLD codec package which resolved the no audio problem I had with some .avi files. Both can be found here: http://www.soft-ware.net/multimedia/audio/codecs/i

Cheers, mate - it was the SLD package! Got some work to do on a website I run for a club, then I'm settling down to watch Batman duke it out with the Joker, some Predators and and Alien!
