can anyone tell me the best payg deal for someone who doesn't use the phone that much as I don't want to have to pay a minimum monthly top-up.

Hi,
If you are asking about mobile phone top up, with no fancy extras, I use Tesco's own system. I rarely use my mobile so it suits me fine.

I'm with Virgin and the only requirement is to make one phone call every 90 days.
