For someone who can only afford 10 per month (talk + text) on pay-as-you go which network offers the best deal. They are currently with Virgin but the first few minutes of their calls in the day works out quite expensive.

there is a great offer with vodafone at the moment,if you spend 5 pound during the week they will give you free weekend calls and texts,Or if you spend 2.50 during the wek they will give you free week end texts .also vodafone offer a service called stop the clock where as after 7:30pm till 8am you pay for the first 3 minutes and the next 57 minutes are for free.
I have an o2 genie sim where as long as I put 10 a month on, I get 300 free texts, then after that, they're only 10p each, for minutes, as long as I put 15 on a month, I get 150 free weekend and evening minutes, plus the 300 texts. you can buy the sim cards off of ebay. Lou x
