Im just about to buy a k800i and these come with a Memory Stick Micro, the phone i have at the moment is a k750i which takes a Memory Stick pro duo. can i upload the Memory Stick pro duo to the Memory Stick Micro?

You can save the data from the k750i onto your pc and then put it straight onto the m2 micro card for the k800i. I've recently done this for the stuff I had on my w800i (pro duo) to my new k800i.

Does the micro fit into a standard memory card reader?

you get an adapter with it. the m2 fits into a pro duo (i think) sized card to allow you to use it in standard card readers
