I recently purchased a Sony Ericsson K800i on O2. On my previous phones whenever I have sent a long text it only ever charged my for one text, but with the K800i when I get to the bottom of the screen it comes up SMS2 and then SMS3 when I type the same amount. Because of this I am charged for two or three seperate texts. Is there anything in the settings that I can change so that it recognises only one text message instead of splitting it up into two or three?

There must have been a fault with the previous operator or something. Any text, from any brand of phone, that goes over the 160 character limit of one text message will be charged as two text messages. There's no getting passed it.

Thanks. My mind is now at rest. I guess I don't make it any cheaper for myself by typing every word out in full. Just never really got to grips with this whole text language. Guess I'll have to start.
