Help with wireless

Brought netgear all fine but now its not connecting. when I 'repair' it says :
windows cannot finish repairing the problem becasue the following action cannot be completed:

Renewing your IP address

Any ideas? nothing to techie please Im a basic user!

Ok reset everything, and follow the instruction, when you have the netgear plugged in, type in IE address bar 168.192.0.1 I think but its on the netgear site and in the box.

then follow instructions if that dosnt work let m know and ill have a think

hi sunflower i have this problem myself occasionaly, im not wireless but get exact same error. in my case i disconnect and unplug my modem for at least 30 seconds then re-connect modem and power up pc again, seems to solve it for me. good luck
