I am not receiving my messages in Outlook anymore. As far as i know i haven't changed any settings. I have to click Send/Receive to get my messages but i sent 2 to myself this morning from other email addresses i have and neither have arrived. Usually my dad would help me out but he is in Spain until Wednesday :-( Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be? Thanks in advance.

Assuming you have no errors when clicking Send/Receive, Check your settings in (tools)(Accounts). Depending upon where you are picking up your emails from these settings will vary, so more info will be needed to help on this one.
If you are using Outlook 2002/3 there is a test button to track sending and receiving.

No errors come up. I checked the settings and it looks to me like it is pointing to the right place. How do i test it using Outlook? It is Outlook 2003 i think. Sorry to be vague about things but i am not very good with computers.
in outlook 2003 go tools> e-mail accounts... > under e-mail select view or change existing account > next > highlight the e-mail account you want to test (doubtless it will be a pop account) then click change... > on this screen is the test account settings > click it and look in the new box and see whether you have any failures > next > finish

I have done that and it came up with an error that says,
'Send test e-mail message: Unable to send test Message. Please verify the E-mail Address field.' How do i do this? Thanks.
Go back to the screen where you sent the Test Account Settings: Are the boxes all filled in corectly? I can't tell you what they should be without knowing more about your email provider although I can tell you roughly what they would be if you had email from www.1and1.
As follows: Your Name - Only you know that one
Email Address - Obvious
Username - Could be your email address, or a user code.
Password - Obvious only to you
Incoming Mail server - pop.1and1.co.uk
Outgoing Mail Server - auth.smtp.1and1.co.uk
As this account would need authorisation you would need to click on More Settings and enable Authorisation.
Then test.
But its only a guide to setting up 1and1 pop email
If it was btinternet it would be
incoming & outgoing Mail servers = mail.btinternet.com
