Post them as an attachment. However, even though they are highly compressed, in mail terms mp3s are still very big so don't be surprised if by sending them you exceed the recipients mailbox limits and the mail is bounced back.
If your mails are being bounced use WinZip or WinRar to package the files into sizable chunks that are within the limit. You won't manage to compress an MP3, but you can split it up. Be sure not to package it as a self-extracting .exe because many mail systems just bounce these too as an anti-virus measure. Easiest way is to post them to the web somewhere and email the link, but the recipient may not have web access...
If Winzip seems to complicated for you, consider using a small, easy to use, free program called 'The File Splitter', available from http://www.dekabyte.com/filesplitter/TFS_121.zip . You can use that to split any type of file.
p.s. Don't forget to also send the .bat file so the recipient can easily reconstruct the file.
If you use MSN Messenger or similar you can send an mp3 to someone who is online instantly. Simply open a hotmail account then download MSN messenger from the MSN website (only takes about 4 mins)
You can't compress what's already compressed but you can reduce its bitrate. Given that the original is recorded at 128kb/s, convert it to something like 56 or even 48 or maybe 32 with the resultant reduction in size.
