When I send an email at home it just sits in my outbox until I select it and click on send/receive button. Why does it not send it automatically as I have checked my mail options and the 'send immediately' option is selected. Help I'm really confused!!!

I am having a problem with Outlook Express also, the message(s) just sit in my outbox and don't go out! I get the message about a time-out asking me if I want to wait another 30 or 60 seconds or stop! If doesn't matter which I pick, it stops! To answer your problem: When you send an email it goes right to the outbox before it gets sent! Maybe you need to just wait a little longer and see if it does go out!
