Hi
I have been using f-secure for two years and find it excellent.
F-Secure have been in the business for years and generally seem to be pretty good at catching the new stuff. Then again, never found anything wrong with AVG either.

Was probably told it was rubbish by the office "computer expert" working on the basis that AVG has a free version thus is useless. It's a lot better than those you can buy boxed in the computer store which I would avoid.

My daughter had difficulty installing her F-secure disc (she doesn't have broadband) and spent nearly two hours on the telephone talking to Barclays call centre etc resulting in a refund and credit for her telephone expenses so she's now abandoned it and will re-install AVG and yes trev the idea that AVG was rubbish di dcome from her office
