Hey, im going to buy a dell laptop but i noticed the prices from america are sometimes 200 quid cheaper. My question is that are there any worries with buying from america? I'll use the laptop for wireless internet if that helps and tv output.
Thanks in Advance

First thing Dell USA will not ship to the UK they will only ship to an american address paid for by a credit card registered to an american address, so you will need a contact in the US. Technically an american laptop is the same as a UK one but you will need a UK power brick which you will need to buy from Dell UK. Personally, for a 200 saving I don't think it's worth the hassle because not only the issues I have mentioned previous but there could be warranty problems aswell.
Iv'e just noticed you mention TV output. america uses NTSC system where in the UK we use PAL so it unlikely that the TV output card would work over here.

I will also be a USA keyboard which may be different from UK keyboard.

The Windows will be US version, plus any applications, plus it will be setup for the US, with US support details, US modem etc.

As Simeon mentions, also it if goes wrong UK Dell may not touch it, or charge you for the privilage.

Not worth the hassle.

US keyboards are indeed different.
If you order via http://www.dell.co.uk/epp/ you get a discount as well.
