New to PC games, I have loaded the game but it keeps freezing and kicks me out. I have the correct spec on my PC to support game, does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Does anyone know how to restore the game to its original settings? Thanks in advance.

I've had problems myself recently with Battlefront 2, the computer was the right spec but you know how it is with technology - everythings out dated in a couple of months. I just tried running the graphics at a lower resolution which helped and I also contacted the technical help desk from the games manufacturers, they can be of help. Good Luck.

Make sure you have the latest graphics drivers for your card.

Some games install 2 "start up" icons in the start menu, one of which will allow you to play with "safe" settings...

Which game is it?

Definately try updating the drivers for your graphics card.
Does the game actually start and then freeze? I'm asking because I had a similar problem a while ago with Halo. After trying everything I could think of (updating graphics drivers, etc.) and getting nowhere, I wondered if it was an overheating problem. I bought a couple of internal fans for the PC and once they were running everything worked fine.
