When i put a website on my favorite list i sometimes get a logo but the next time i use the computer the logo has gone,why and where

If you clear you Temporary Internet Files and your History it has a tendancy to take this image with it too... there's no way round it except never to clear your Temp files. For your information, the image is called 'favicon.ico'
