Is it OK? I know there are lots of other ISP's out there but I'm tempted to go with the 'big boys'. I don't mind committing for a year as long as it works!! Heard all sorts of horror stories about other 'cheaper' ISP's(especially Tiscali) and I've had a look at one or two old threads about ISP's on here but would appreciate some recent feedback on BT.

Many thanks in advance.

my tiscali is okay. never had any probs, customer service is poor though, but they are good.
Never had any major problems with BT. Their customer service is ok, but I don't think they are the smartest bunch to be honest. The main issue I have is the price, as BT is quite expensive compared to some of the smaller outfits.

i am with telewest and i have to say they are brilliant. The customer service is superb and i got free installation.

Wanadoo Broadband is excellent. It is really cheap and has caused me no problems. It took hardly anytime to get it setup and the customer service is brill!!!!!

I have been with Freeserve/Wanadoo for a few years now, generally I have found their customer service excellent and the service has NEVER gone down or been too slow.
They even waived the 20 charge to upgrade from 512K to 1MB broadband and I did not even have to ask, all because i had been a loyal customer.
