The alleged "doctoring" seems a bit odd, the girl's cuff / hand and one of the boy's fingers. Presumably a palace office media officer had a tat and didn't tell the photo agencies (tut tut).

The tree is in leaf in early March because it has been very mild.  We have trees in full blossom and in leaf - even our tulips are out.  Plus if it grown against a south facing wall, it will be ahead.

You can see a wee bit of the sleeve where it was originally if you zoom in but I cannot understand why it was needing changed 

I'm wondering how some folk spotted it.

There are about eight inconsistencies on the photo with evidence of cloning and cutting/pasting. Charlottes skirt stops in mid air as do the cuffs on her cardigan. These agencies employ experts and to kill a photo is done after expert scrutiny, so yes it has been tampered with, but whether this for spurious reasons, or because someone has touched it up for cosmetic reasons remains to be seen.

If you were going to doctor a picture you'd make sure it's not obvious and why would you doctor a picture like that anyway. The idea is that it's a normal family snap. They probably took several and picked the best one. Nothing to see here.

Yes a few bits of the photo look like they may have been altered.  On a light note the windows look like they have been painted by an amateur.
