does anyone know where I can buy a Nikon 18 - 55 mm lens cap (cover /protector) for my camera. I got in touch with Nikon UK about 3 weeks ago and have had no reply. Thank you in advance

Are you looking for a lens cap or a body cap. it's not obvious rom your question? A front lens cap goes on the front of the lens ie, the bitn see when it'd attached to the camera. A rear body cap goes on the end of the lens which fits into the camera and a body cap fits on the camera body so that the inside of the camera is protected when you have no lens on it. Both the rear lens cap and the body cap are solely dependant on which mount you have on your camera; for the front lens cap and will do provided it is the right size as stated on the lens.
