Does anyone know where I can information about putting clips of songs on a business web site (30 second clips), or know what the laws are? I am attempting to set up a music web site and would like clips from lots of songs.

I once herd that 6% of a copyrighted work can be copied legaly providing you give credit to the author in every instance. But I DO NOT know if that is true. Your best bet would be to ask the copyright holder for their permission.
