For some reason any thing I play through my pc comes out with quite a lot of echo, and I can't seem to get rid of it.It's not my speakers because the same thing happens when played through my headphones.

Any ideas anyone?

I bought a cheap sound card once and it had reverb permanently on. I searched and searched and could never get rid of it: it drove me mad. Well mad enough to replace the sound card. Not the answer you want to heard but I think it may well be built into the sound card hardware or drivers. Ah, drivers, I not sure whether I changed or update the sound card drivers (it was some years ago). Have a go with that...

Thanks for the reply buttons....perhaps I should have mentioned that it was working fine with current sound card one day then started echoing the next.....but your comments have been taken on board and definitely gonna check it out.

Thanks again.

Definitely worth looking to see if there are newer drivers, as sometimes new software or Windows updates can throw things unexpectedly out of whack.
