I've got a list of songs (that Ive got on vinyl and cassette) which I'd now like to put on CD. Does anyone know a good website that I can download the songs from? I've tried Kazaa (sic?) in the past, but that mucked my PC up!

try limewire or morpeus. both are p2p but have a good number of tracks from most artists.
don't bother with the normal kazaa, download a lite version such as kazaa lite resurrection. I recommend torrents
Try http://www.mykazaagold.com
Much much better than any other Kazaa or Limewire or any other Wire.
I am so delighted with mykazaagold that I'm trying to get my family and friends to join in and have some fun as well.
Try http://www.mykazaagold.com
Try it our it is the best out there, highly recommended.

Thanks terry. Is a free site or a pay one? I'm using gomusic.ru and limewire at the mo - both good, although limewire does have a lot of "tracks" which are not what they are listed as being!
Kazaa Platinum http://www.kazaa-platinum.com recently came into market. I bought it & I think this was the best choice I ever made.

It gives me specific results for my music & movie downloads, unlike Limewire or any other Kazaa.
It also gives a free anti virus programme , free Ipods/ Mp3 transfer software, free CD burning software free, all in just 29.50 $ one time lifetime fee.

I must say it is a revoultion in music / movies downloads.

(As I've said on a different question thread) I used Kazaa in the past and it completely $%$%^^&&&* up my PC, so I'll stick with what I'm currently using.

Thanks for the suggestion, though.

I've finally given in and decided to try this Kazaa-Platinum. However, having looked on their website, it says I have to become a member which will cost me (dependant on which "package" I want) $18.00,$ 27.00 or $29.50.

I thought it was free?
