Morning. It's a bit early even for GMEB, but I wonder if anyone else is up and about.

Moi!!
I'll say a quick 'Hello' to you, Tony, (and to Smow, whom I see from 'Latest Posts' has just joined this thread as I type) but I won't be around for long, as I'm a 'night owl', rather than an 'early bird', and thus off to my beddy-byes fairly soon.

Morning Smow, I just couldn't get to sleep last night, Ive got some prickly feeling in my calves, thought E45 cream would ease it, but hasn't worked.
Question Author
I will not be to far behind you Chris, but in my own bed lol.
Morning guys. Im same Buenchico - I often don’t go to bed before 3am but last night was 1am so an early night!!
E45 cream Tony - what’s that meant to do??
A prickly feeling in your calves?

You don't need E45; you need a vet ;-)
>>> I will not be to far behind you Chris, but in my own bed

You can't even begin to understand just how relieved I am that you added that caveat, Tony ;-)
Question Author
Lol You know what I meant. E45 should be soothing Smow
Question Author
Thought I needed to add the caveat before the rumours start.
Godyou two make me laugh. Don’t!! I’m still I’m awful pain lol. Though according to many on here I’m not purely because I’m trying to keep a sense of humour!! Been an awful week- teen smow has Covid and isn’t feeling great , I spoke to him last night. I’m in pain with abdomen pain and absolutely no explanation.... on plus side.....hang on, still thinking for one lol.....
Question Author
Smow have you seen your GP re pain in abdomen?
It was GP who sent me to the hosp
Let's hope that teen smow feels better soon. Most younger people with Covid seem to recover fairly quickly.

I hope that your abdominal pain goes too, Smow. I spent several hours yesterday morning with abdominal pain but mine definitely wasn't unexplained. I was lying flat on my back in bed, with 7½ kilos of cat fast asleep on my lower abdomen. I was in a lot of discomfort but I simply hadn't got the heart to disturb him ;-)
I can literally put my hand exactly where it is - on right side literally just below right br***t, so basically top of right rib cage.
Question Author
OK Smow must keep up on events, you've done the whole 9 yards then, are you on any meds for the pain, or maybe a hot water bottle or deep heat spray.
Awwww I’m desperate to get another cat, I’m lost without my two. I was going thru photos on iPad yesterday and some of the ones of them were hilarious, there’s one of Mr Smow trying or read a really major work document on sofa and Pepper thinks what a fabulous place to sleep!! And literally jumps on it and spreads out whilst he’s reading it!! The look on his face is hilarious
[Just to annoy Sqad, if he turns up, here's my guess at a possible cause of pain "just under the ribs on your right-hand side": https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/gallstones/symptoms ]

Yes, Smow, you definitely need a cat in your life because life without a cat isn't life anyway - it's only 'existence' ;-)

My cats also choose great places to sleep. Moonbeam isn't very original in his choice of sleeping places, in that he generally likes to be on my (= 'his') bed - but that frequently means that I have to try to sleep in a one foot wide space on my bed, right next to a cold external wall, so that I don't have to move him from his preferred spot. Meanwhile Tablo has, over the last few days, taken to sleeping on top of my printer, frequently managing to press the button to turn it on and then repeatedly hitting 'Copy' to churn out loads of blank photocopies. Chequers, on the other hand, decided to sleep on my laptop keyboard this evening, even though I was actively typing away as he settled himself down!
Tony, am dosed up on meds and antibiotics for poss infection
Chico- yes even hosp said they suspected gallstones/inflamed gallbladder.:(well done!! I’m impressed!!) but don’t want to op unless 100% necessary as hosp if full of COVID wards, so to monitor for next few days, but even they’re baffled it’s not showing up on anything. Drugs are a wonderful thingLol (painkillers)
I’m going to look at a cat rescue centre online today x
>>> Drugs are a wonderful thing

Well alcohol certainly is anyway ;-)

I hope that you feel better soon, and that you find the perfect feline companion too, Smow. My beloved Moonbeam is now crying for me to join him upstairs on the bed though, so I reckon that it's time to turn in ;-)

Good night. (Good morning?)
