Do all Bluetooth headphones have built-in volume controls? The ones on Amazon mostly don’t mention volume controls.

Any expertson tonight?
Some might.
Generally you control the volume on the device, be it a phone or computer.
As far as I can tell (from having researched Bluetooth speakers and headphones prior to purchasing both recently), the general rule seems to be that most Bluetooth headphones come with volume controls but most Bluetooth speakers don't. However I doubt that anyone here could guarantee that all Bluetooth headphones have volume controls, as nobody will have seen every model that's available.

I've just done a bit of browsing on Amazon though and found that, even when the description doesn't mention a volume control, there's often a mention of one on the packaging (if you look through the various photos supplied) or someone will have already asked about a volume control if you look through the questions at the foot of the page.
Mine have them, and they’re cheap ones from Home Bargains.
I have a set of Mark 1 version Sony Bluetooth headphones

(The ones in the link are the newest version) and can not only control the volume, I can skip tracks forward and backwards and double-tap the right can to pause/restart the music.
Mine are like that Stephen. Sometimes I get in a right muddle. :-)

Thanks v.much, Stephen. For that price, I suppose they come with a comfy armchair and a cup of tea, too...

As it happens, I only want them for the TV - it's the old story, Mrs A's hearing is okay, and wants the TV at a certain volume, while mine is getting dodgy, and I need headphones at a different volume.

I'm going to split the TV output to a) existing speaker system (for Mrs A), and b) a bluetooth transmitter for my headphones, anyway, all I need is to be able to control my volume.

But thanks for the pointer. A lot of my gear is Sony, so I might look deeper into what else they've got.

Allen.
Allen, these are mine. Hopefully, just what you're looking for.
