Oddly, that's probably the only shelf in my house which doesn't regularly get stripped bare by the cats!
. . . and, yes, I am left-handed, Alba - as were both my parents, all four of my grandparents, all of my uncles and aunts (including some by marriage) and, to the best of my knowledge, all of my cousins too ;-)
My keyboard isn't actually quite as filthy as that photo makes it look, Zebo! (The flash seems to have reflected off it in a strange way).
Tony: The mother of my four cats simply turned up out of the blue one day and moved in. The very next day she attacked and destroyed my (computer) mouse!
Actually, I'm right handed but can only use the mouse with my left hand. That's because I first used a mouse back around 1988. The company had just got a few in the office, and the one I used had the mouse on the left hand side, so I just used it. And the rest is history.

Yup, around that time would have been right. I remember spotting this strange thing next to a computer in our school library and asking the head of computer studies what it was. He informed me that it was called 'a mouse' and demonstrated how it worked. I couldn't ever see it catching on though ;-)
I've spent years trying to find a comfortable way to fall asleep at my desk, Mamya, but I can never manage it. You'll have to let me in on the secret ;-)
I worked for a famous confectionery firm, whose name is out of this world. They were always at the forefront when new technology was available. Still are I shouldn't wonder. They were the first company in this country to use the "wagon & drag" combination of transport, with DMB facility. A nightmare to begin with that quickly, and expensively, went out of favour.
