Why All The Updates

2 cumulative updates in 2 days requiring restarts as someone using this for text browsing photos etc not business i have never seen in all the updates since win 10 came out make any difference to my lap top ?

I'm still getting updates for W.indows 7

i wish i could easily use a Linux system...
but not seen one thats got all the benefits the Microsoft has

Its the price of not having to buy new versions

but win 10 was free if it had to be a paid for Microsoft o/s you would still be getting all the updates
