I downloaded and installed this software recently as Nero seems to crash my pc when burning dvds (data or video) . However upon install a popup came up with need to download .NET framework which I thought was odd but carried on anyway.
CD burner XP works fine and I'm happy now I'm not ending up with lots of coasters my question is why in my installed progs list there's lots of .Net framework updates, patches and so on some are huge 200 megs or more .
Do I really need all ths stuff or can I get rid of some.
Also what about all the win XP updates, do they all need to be kept as well. I'm only asking as Microsoft kb doesn't seem to say much about getting rid of old updates.
