they've suspended all prize crossword entries for the time being ...


The Telegraph has suspended all prize puzzles until the present situation is resolved.
No more Telegraph prizes for the foreseeable. Nice of them to warn us before we shelled out for the paper :(
At least one paper had no postal entry option as they said they don't want staff in and opening envelopes given the Covid situation. I think Royal Mail are stretched too

There's a piece in today's Sunday Telegraph saying that there will be no prize puzzles for a while. This is to protect their staff - 'We don't want to tisk their health by asking them to come into the offices....We also don't want to risk the health of the suppliers who … get our rpizes to winners.'
