My grandson is having trouble with a device (sorry I don't know what device at the moment) and has been in touch with the manufacturer for help.
Part of their reply goes thus: re start the PC, re set the router, re load the PC.
What does re load the pc mean? I'm guessing it means to go back to what he was doing in the first place but am I correct?

So I noticed, but I can't believe it means reinstall Windows :-O

Yes, that's not going to happen :)
Just a thought on my part.

It sounds to me that your grandson is possibly trying to load a programme to a PC., either from a disc or as an internet download.

If that is the case, then he must switch off the PC and then turn off all power to everything ( PC, Router, Speakers, Printer, etc etc) , leave for about ten minutes and then re-connect, prior to re-loading whatever he is trying to feed into the PC or whatever.

I think more information is required from your Grandson as regards what actually he is trying to do, the equipment involved, etc. Perhaps then there will be a better qualified ABer than myself to help in the matter.

Hans.
