I recognise the location. A24 junction with Ruxley Lane. I believe I have seen that vehicle cruising our roads looking for scrap and touting for rubbish disposal. Your typical fly tipper from a certain community.
Suprised he had tax and insurance and the vehicle was registered to an address he could be summoned. Could of been a Death by Dangerous driving and a custodial.
OMG get him and throw the book at him..unbelievable !
They did get him.
They have

//Gruber, of Beverley Way, London, was found guilty following a trial at Guildford Magistrates' Court. He was given a six week sentence, suspended for 18 months and 80 hours community service.//
More of a near hit!
He also received a 15 month disqualification with an extended test and prosecution costs of £230
that's not throwing the book, more llike handing him a sheet of A4.
No it isn't, but we are powerless to change that.

My response was more to 'get him'.

More like advice on a ‘Post it’ note.....

Shocking. And given the ‘community’ he’s from he’ll obviously abide by his sentence and conditions, won’t he?
I don't know him like you do.
Has it been mentioned anywhere what 'community' he's from other than he lives in a house?
What, you don’t know the character and calibre of the males in the lovable, idyllic itinerant encampments?
Poor show.....

I went with local knowledge, Calicogirl.
Not sure why it is poor show - I have never heard of this man until today and live hundreds of miles from him.
What 'Beverley Way, London' Chill? No can't say I know anyone there and neither does anyone else on this thread, so it's a 'poor show' that conclusions are being jumped to, when Transit pick ups are the most common pick up truck in the UK. If he's a traveller, he's pretty crap at it, he doesn't have a travellers surname and he lives in a house. Maybe he's just a Jeremy Kyler, quite a few of those about.

Where does it say "He lives in a house?"
If you believe that you'll believe anything Chill, I gravely doubt Retro could identify that vehicle, it's a common or garden Transit pick up with a boarded sides. There must be 10 around where I live similar, and it wasn't any of them either.
He lives in 'Beverley Way' Baldric read the link.

I’ll take his word over yours, no offence.
None taken but no offence to Retrocop ( God I hope he wasn't really a cop?!?) but there are dozens and dozens of vehicles that look like that, and unless he's spoken to the occupant of the one he has in mind he STILL has no way of knowing what community' he's from.
If he's a traveller, stuff him, if he's a Gorgi, stuff him, it's the conclusion jumping and supposition to fit some people agendas I don't like.
