Recommendations For Turntable & Cd

Hi
I'm looking for a Hi-Fi system, that plays CDs & LPs (don't need tapes or radio all that much) but want decent sound.
Doesn't need to be top of the range - but happy to spend around £150.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
I have tried to google search, but my options appear limited ...

i'm afraid you'd have to treble that and more to get a decent hi.fi looks like you need "separates " cd player / turntable / amp
/ speakers.

It really depends how old your ears are. Having said that, the only way is to go to , say, Richer Sounds, and listen to a few. I've always had good advice from there and so long as the system sounds alright to you it's the right one.

separates are the way to go, if one component goes you can replace it
or upgrade.
