How can I view utube on my iPad. It won't let me. So annoying.

Apparently you can't...

You probably need an uPad to watch uTube.

Look upon it as a safety feature. Flash has yet more vulnerabilities in its latest incarnation :-(

I have an iPad 2 which, once downloaded, has no problem showing YouTube.

You Tube app is installed as standard as far as I recall, I certainly don't remember installing it, assuming Utube is actually You Tube that is!

By all accounts the YouTube app is not very good.
You should be able to watch most YouTube videos on an iPad or even an iPod or iPhone only if they are in flv format they probably won't work

What sort of iPad do you have?

Ichkeria, I've never had any problems with the app, it looks different to the website as it is optimised for the iPad but seems to work fine, not that I use it massively.

I must admit I was put off by the negative reviews. And the fact that I didn't seem to need it.

I do use YouTube, just not the app. I find opening Safari and typing 'y' in the URL field is just as quick as using the app. Same for Facebook :-)

It is not called uTube it is YouTube.

Type that in the Safari browser and it works.

Alternatively download the official YouTube App from the AppStore.
