Tried replacing all ink cartridges and cleaning the nozzle and re-aligning but still printing really badly, unaligned and majority of the ink placement.

Are you using genuine Epson cartridges? Other makes sometimes work OK, and sometimes they don't.

No bought some off eBay... With great feedback and 10,000 plus sold... Don't want to fork out for genuine if the printer is shot though :/

If you don't use genuine Epson cartridges, you can expect problems, it's as simple as that.
