usually works by pressing F11. Hope this helps.

Right-click on the tabbar and see if the toolbar you want is listed in the resultant drop-down menu; if it is but does not have a tick next to it then left-click on it.

I had IE but I inadvertantly deleted it and cant get it back

There is no toolbar at the top of the page in Chrome. You need to click on the hotdog (the three horizontal bars top right) to access the tool menu.

You can't restore the toolbar if that is what you are asking. The 'hotdog' is the replacement.

What exactly are you trying to do/access?

I just wanted th tool bar on show, but by what you say that is not possible, there are different options on the scroll down menu and it does not actally say toolbar
