Missing Address Bar

Can I get the address bar at the top of screen to show in Chrome I have Windows 7

Hi Ron,...I am at a loss as to what you mean by Address Bar. What address bar at the top of what screen?. Have you something in, shall we say Firefox Browser, which you now wish to have in Google Chrome.

Hi Hans, yes you are correct, in Firefox there is an address bar at the top of the page showing File Edit View Go Message Tools Help. I am wondering if I can arrange to show this bar in Google Chrome

That's a tool bar, Ron. The address bar is the one that has www.theanswerbank in it.

Click the three horizontal bars at the top right of the screen, directly under the 'close window' cross icon. That should give you what you want.

Thank you for correcting my ''higorance'' hc. Unfortunately clicking the 3 bars does not give an option to install a tool bar, I am beginning to think that Chrome will not have the facility I am looking for which is a feature of Firefox which I have found not suitable on my PC because of constant freezing.

Unfortunately, Google Chrome does not have such a bar available and hc4361 was Not suggesting that you would be able to install one from the horizontal bars, but was putting you in the direction of finding all the items that you have along the top of your Firefox page.

Incidentally, are you saying that your Firefox Browser is constantly freezing.
Do you have the up-to-date version which is 27.0.1
