What is the best and easiest programme for joining avi files. Can it be done using dvdsanta?

Dvd hard drive recorders..

Not sure about dvd santa - never heard of it.

There is a wealth of tools at www.doom9.net

I personally use nandub for this. You can append avi files and crop them, re-encode etc.

All tools on the site are free.

Nero will do the job pretty well if you are intending to burn to disc.I select all of the AVI files I want,and then click on the merge button.The result is my AVI files are now seamless.
