Gness.....how's yoo ?
It's lovely to see both gness and MrsO back, they are a breath of fresh air and both make me lol at their day to day antics.
We are still waiting for an account of your latest escapades, Gness and lovely to have you back

Just read through the 10 pages of Mrs o's post. There's a lot of clever so and sos out there. (Should there be an apostrophe in sos as it's not plural).
Hi, Helly and thank you.....I have been on a short break in exchange for some curtain making for a cottage in Derbyshire.

Think the chap who owns the cottage fancies me and I was a little worried that the curtains may have been etchings but no....you know me and my luck....it was curtains....Ah well......☻

I was well wined and dined though and knowing my love of Rum I was treated to a really nice bottle.........if I hadn't been tempted to have a sip the night before I came home............and if I had resealed the bottle properly I wouldn't now have a case full of slightly damp and rum smelling clothes.....:-(

Do you think the smell will come out in the wash or am I destined to pong like a wino now?

MrsO is home from hospital and has been posting today so lets cross our fingers for her...she deserves more than a good long run at home...

Hope you're well and not swimming in floods.....x

Lovely to hear from you - no, no floods here (at least so far). Lincolnshire has missed it all - not being smug, hope no-one thinks that. You seem to have the same luck with fellers as me. My daughter keeps asking me if I've found anyone, but would you really want to go back to ironing shirts?
So glad Mrs o is back, I will watch for your repartee which always makes me smile x
Helly, I thing gness has said she loves ironing shirts :-)
Thanks all....'tis nice to be back....still manless and still unable to get credit on my mobile though I have made friends with the girl on the M&S card I use to top up my mobile. Her name is Debbie and she used to be a holiday rep and she likes black clothes.....it cost me the last £6 of credit I had to find all that out and then I had to chat up Steve on Tesco mobile. He isn't allowed to put credit on but by the time I had told him all about my woes he gave me £9 free....God knows how he arrived at that. He did sound as if he was biting chunks out of his desk by the end of the conversation though...☺ £2 left and unable to top up.....never mind...xx
Helly...I love ironing shirts! If a man comes here....to deliver the post... give me a quote for blinds.....no matter what....I will rip the shirt off his back to iron it.....☺
Hello, gness. Where were you in Derbyshire? Did you take your bike? It's very hilly there.
Hi, Tilly...near Buxton and no bike this time. Bit wet and windy but maybe in the summer.....☺☺
I'm really disappointed, I've been spreading rumours you're in France with Shoota :-(
I'll play along with that rumour if you like, Psyb.....but what has Shoota done to you to inflict me upon him?......☺
There's still time, gness, I'd jump at the chance!
Nice to see gness and mrs. O back posting. xx
Hi, Cupid.....thank you. I was going to go to Yorkshire.....but then I thought about all those puddings.....and went to Derbyshire!!....x
Is curtain making a euphemism?
