It's Friday!

Anyone doing or cooking anything exciting this evening, or going anywhere nice?

I'm in the kitchen all evening making a rather large batch of Rocky Road bars and roasted tomato and red pepper soup. Happiness is being in the kitchen :-)

Hi, NoM....hope the car is getting sorted for you...

Well I won't be cooking that's for sure.....but I have had an offer I'm considering...

It involves a newish man......curtains and a country cottage somewhere nice.....

I have to decide if curtains are the new etchings before I take up the offer...........☻

I loved Salad, Daisy. I could eat it all year round.

Enjoy your time off, Tiggs.

Sounds awesome, JJ.
That's good news, NoM....I really hope it works out happily for you.....
I'm making it a week....but with a chaperone...☺

lucky lady -- hope he is 'the one'
The rocky road sounds awesome, too.
Malay chicken curry for dinner, not sure what chutneys/salads I can knock up to go with it.

Tomorrow will be spent hibernating and Sunday I'm having my family tree revealed to me, apparently I'm in for some surprises.

I didn't think here were any surprises left so I'm intrigued!
No, I'm knackered!

I made roasted red pepper and tomato soup once but I must have had a rubbish recipie as came out really bland and completely put me off making it again :-/
Rocky road, yum..... and good news about the potential man-hostage too, NoM - fingers crossed :-)

I've had spicy beanburgers and baked beans (I'm saying nothing....)
Waves to NoM, I hope he's great xx

That sounds exciting, Eccles.

Yep, new man slave is lovely and treats me like a queen. I dumped the Sqd Ldr last October whilst he was still in Afghan - what an absolute control freak!

Big shout to Boxy and China x

Gness, it sounds as if you've pulled. (curtains, geddit?)
