I have private Pensions as well as UK state pensions and often wonder what would happen if i died and didn't tell the authorities.........not that I would be dishonest (being a Tory)

I receive a pension from my late DH's employer. The company actually has "visitors" who are themselves retired from the company and who are paid to go round "visiting" the other pensioners within their patch to confirm that they are still alive. They turn up every two to three years. When DH died, the local visitor phoned me to find out when and where the funeral was so that he and company reps could attend. I told him to f off.

I am a retired Financial Adviser, although I tell people at dinner parties that I used to play piano in a brothel, as there is less chance of a riot.
