How do you get a photo off the windows 8 computer or an iPhone and on to AB ? Obvious I know, but not to me !

Sorry to intervene, that is a useful link, but how does one use it?

Click on browse, select the photo you want to upload from your computer, then past the link into your reply.

I apologise for being a little slow on the up take over such matters, but using the link you supplied which is different to the previous one, which link do you use the one that is labelled 'HTML for websites' or the 'IMG code for forum and message boards'?

Also I cannot see 'Browse' on your link.

Sorry AOG, my link was just an example of posting a photo. Bibble's link is the one you want.
After the picture had uploaded I used the bottom link for "direct link for layouts" to post in my reply.

@anotheoldgit - using Tiny also means that you can hide the subject matter of the linked site.

If I am posting something funny I find it is a better surprise if they are not alerted to what it is about in the clickable link.

The above sounded much clearer when it was still in my brain.

I understood, using TinyURL does shorten links and takes out the source.

I regularly used that site until, some complained that it hid the fact that it was a Daily Mail link.

So not wanting anyone to turn into stone by reading such matter, I did them the courtesy by reverting back to the original Daily Mail links.

I hope all of the gentlemen on this post have a very happy time over the festive season. I just noticed that all the avatars are animals - not too sure about bibblebub's blue fluffy bird though!
