Well I do think it all comes out- thanked a friend of a friend last night for a birthday card and she asked me how things were going regarding my piano lessons. In the eventual call she was able to tell me how my teacher said I was a very impatient pupil. Now what can you say. don't get me wrong he is lovely but I am/was never impressed with confidentiality.

PS - I needed counselling earlier this year but didn't take it up and now I am glad cos somebody knows something about you somewhere.
Piano lessons and counseling are completely different things - think doctor and window cleaner.
I think it is a matter of having trust in your doctors - or piano teachers -
I wouldnt worry too much if someone said I wouldnt or couldnt learn my scales

remember plummy voiced Brian Sewell said of Bob Dylans painting,#
I hope he dings better than he paints

anyway sleep well

I still think Sherrard - everything comes to light no matter what.

PS if you were to identify to being a murderer in counselling (a bit thick) - wouldn't you be in trouble.

Poirot (not that I watch him) wouldn't he have the answer. hahahhhahhha
Yes,that is different, conne, but you could ask your teacher to speak to you and not others about your lessons.
You are worrying unduly, professional medical people don't go blabbing. Your (or anyone's) problems/issues don't get discussed (surprisingly, you/other people aren't that interesting).

Pixie - that is how I feel - we are all in 50-60s - never thought I was that interesting.
Oh my god Connie are you the serial murderess that is presently in court ?

In the good old days of Hospital Inspections ( yes we had Hospital Inspections and standards werent too bad but administrators found them oppressive !!! and they were stopped by act of parliament by Alan Milburn Car and Standards Act 2003 ) we had to report either crimes or torts we were told about. Usually harassment - and the first thing was to say to the complainant - look you have told us you are being harassed - we HAVE to do something about it....

after a prolonged discussion o the lines of look you have told us, why cant you let us tell the admin - she said yeah

and the admin said - oh yeah we know all about that !
and we said limply - er she thinks you dont....

If you go into A+E having been stabbed you can try (er that would be have a stab at...) telling the staff they cant report it. But they are obliged to by law....similarly for shot gun injuries....

are you planning to have any of these... ?
agreed sherr'

fambly secrets Which Can Never Be Told - include grandparents that werent married (so what ?) and Uncle was married thrice and not twice ( so what ) . and that was in my own family. All connected with inheritance of money I think.

reading over this posting - Peter I was shot in 1972 - also when I went to A&E sometime ago re broken arm - I laughed and said my hubby broke it and they went to serious mode and said they would have to contact police. God I nearly sh t myself. LOL
There is little to laugh about with regards to domestic violence and wasting the time of health care professionals.
Conne as others have said, counselling isn't piano lessons! Did you ask you piano teacher not to tell anyone?
Why on earth should your piano lessons be confidential?
