An NHS ambulance was took into a garage for repairs. Apparently it still had a corpse in the back.

I read about that. I wonder what the family of the deceased thought when they found out.

Well, lets hope they didn't eh?
Find out, that is....
Was it in for some bodywork repairs?

Although I have to say, if I were the corpse, I would have seen the funny side....
But that's just me.
Zac...LOL
I bet the driver got a stiff talking too ...

< and I do also agree with daffy - not funny for the family >
No laughing matter....

There's just been a story down here on BBC Spotlight that Treliske Hospital (Royal Cornwall) refused to allow a man (and his children) into the establishment to get to the cancer wards to see his terminally ill wife - because of Novovirus apparently (and despite their remonstrations).

She died without them there.
To be fair DT, that's an entirely different set of circumstances altogether and in total contrast to the OP.

Thanks chill, cos I feel dead guilty now.....

Concur with that totally. The general public would be mortified(no pun intended!) if they knew the sort of humour that NHS staff sometimes succumb to in even the most difficult of circumstances.
