6.6 megapixels is good quality. At work (graphic design) we use a 3 megapixel camera for taking in-house pics and the quality is good enough for publishing. The quality of the pic does depend also on the quality of lens, but we also have a happy-snappy weeny 7 megapixel camera (a Canon) and that is more than adequate for printing.
3 megapixel will do a 6x4 standard photo, but not much larger without pixelation.
4 megapixel will go almost up to A4 size.
6 megapixel and above will do A4 size with ease. and far larger than that.

But as the above says, it's also about the quality of the lens too. also do you want a camera of video recorder? a lot of cameras have a video function, but this is nothing like a proper camcorder.

i've seen a 6.6mp digital camera/ video/ mp3. how do i know if the quality of the lens is good? it say on the info i have about it that it has a F3.0 fixed focus lens.
what manufacturer is the camera? and specifically, what is the model number (so some helpful sole here can have a look).

if the camera uses a really good quality lens, they'll put the name on it, such as Carl Zeiss.

it's a digi-flex camera. it just says its a new small 6.6mp digital camera/ video/ mp3 # 7 in1 # there are quite a lot of them on ebay at the moment for 89.99. this sounds cheap to me but i don't have much knowledge of them!
i would agrue that it would be very, very average. a true 6+ megapixel camera for that price cannot be that good... simple as that.
